The Newport Restoration Foundation promotes and invests in the architectural heritage of the Newport, RI community, the traditional building trades and Doris Duke’s fine and decorative art collections.
In a long-running creative collaboration with NRF, CCS has designed visitor touchpoints for its two iconic museums: Rough Point and Whitehorne House. We developed a visitor’s guide and map alongside a comprehensive system of wayfinding and interpretive signage. Designed to blend seamlessly with the architecture and landscape of each location, every element remained easy to read and on-brand. Working closely with our fabricator, CCS supervised production and installation to ensure the highest quality results.
To further support NRF’s mission, CC:S overhauled their website with a focus on improved user experience, making it easier for visitors to explore and connect with the foundation’s programs, museums and collections.
