We believe in harnessing the power of design to create meaningful impact in the areas that matter to us most: social justice, mental health, arts & culture, climate change, social services and education.
Each year, we proudly partner with one nonprofit to bring their mission to life through a pro bono, purpose-driven design project.

BRISTOL
BOOKFEST
Bristol BookFest, established in 2019, is an annual public humanities program designed to inspire readers, promote life-long learning and build community in welcoming and sociable environments. Each year, a new literary work is selected and the event brings together general readers with scholars in the fields of literature, history, political science and film.
CCS designed the event’s visual identity, including the logo, monogram, merchandise and promotional materials. Every year since 2020, we have designed the annual book cover in a bold, two-color graphic style, with the logo and supporting materials evolving annually through updated color palettes that reflect the tone and themes of the chosen books.

ARIA
The Association of Rhode Island Authors (ARIA) is a nonprofit dedicated to amplifying the voices of local published writers across Rhode Island and connecting them to readers, booksellers and the broader literary community.
To strengthen visibility and community engagement across Rhode Island, CCS designed a cohesive brand identity for ARIA. This included the development of a logo in which the two “A” forms create a bridge—symbolizing connection between authors and readers and drawing inspiration from the iconic Newport Bridge—along with an image library and flexible promotional templates for member communications and events. The refreshed identity positioned ARIA as a central hub for the state’s literary community and created a consistent, recognizable presence across year-round touchpoints.
